Job nature: Dhaka based Permanent post
Job Purpose : The M&E Systems Manager is responsible for technical and professional support to the overall M&E strategy. Working closely with managers throughout the organization a liaising internationally, s/he implements appropriate M&E systems and tools in the organization that focus on impact and programmatic improvement.
Main Responsibilities:
The M&E Systems Manager serves FH's Policy & Resources department by developing a culture of measuring outcomes and impact and improving effectiveness by evidence-based learning.
Reviewing existing systems of M&E in FH Bangladesh and suggesting changes, improvements and replacements;
Linking with M&E specialists in the FH global organization, and searching publicly available M&E expertise to bring new ideas and suggestions to the attention of the Management
Constructing and operating agreed systems of M&E for organization
Training appropriate people in relevant aspects of M&E systems use;
Receiving, processing and storing M&E data from within FH Ba;
Drafting reports interpreting available data.
Drafting M&E plans for new project proposals;
Working with Area Programme Coordinators & Managers to conduct donor required M&E processes.
Providing M&E analysis of available data to support reports to donors and other parties;
Assisting Area Programme Coordinators & Team Managers to implement the M&E components of projects including baseline surveys, gathering data for FH global indicators, mid-term evaluations and project completion evaluations.
Providing M&E information in suitable format to be used to encourage and motivate participants.
Processing and interpreting data and drafting the measurement components of the evaluation report.
Working supportively with Field Staff to help them understand the need for, benefits of, and methods for, collecting M&E data.
Training Field Staff to grow M&E skills in each individual.
Undertaking regular visits to the field to support implementation of M&E and to identify where adaptations might be needed.

Graduate in any disciplines (statistics preferable).

Age 25 to 35 year(s)
Minimum 2 years of experience in field of M&E
Confident in using computers. Competent user of office software including word processors and spreadsheets. Willing to learn new software.
Able to write and speak English.
Willing to travel within Bangladesh to conduct training and gather data, and build relationships with field staff.
Able to select when quantitative and when qualitative approaches are appropriate for measuring performance and impact, and determine information for quality improvement.
Knows about internationally recognized ways of data gathering, processing and interpretation such as questionnaire design, simple and cluster sampling, LQAS surveys.
Able to interpret results of surveys and write meaningful results statements.
Able to extract management learning and action from surveys and evaluations.
Able to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing, and to teach others.
